Open Mic & Forum in the face of Monstrosity - منبر وملتقى مفتوح في وجه التوحُش

As part of the Live, Stay initiative, Zoukak launched the Open Mic and Forum in the face of Monstrosity with the onset of the Israeli war on Lebanon in September 2024, grounded in the belief in the importance and power of coming together during such times. This initiative builds on the momentum of Open-Mic for Palestine launched in November 2023, in response to the Israeli genocide in Gaza. This open forum serves as a platform for artistic contributions in diverse forms—whether through reading texts, playing music, storytelling, or presenting artistic works such as theatre, music, artistic installations, films, and other communicative, expressive, and artistic forms that reflect on and share experiences of the current moment.


عِشِ، ابْقَ – منبر وملتقى مفتوح في وجه التوحّش. أطلقه مسرح زقاق مع بداية العدوان الإسرائيليّ على لبنان في أيلول 2024، إيمانًا بأهميّة وقوّة اللقاء في أوقاتٍ كهذه. سبقه تنظيم منبر مفتوح لفلسطين، الذي أُطلق في تشرين الثاني 2023. يوفّر هذا الملتقى المفتوح منصّة للمداخلات والأعمال الفنّيّة بمختلف أنواعها – بما فيها قراءات أدبية وشعرية ومسرحيّة، الموسيقى، الحكاية، المسرح، التجهيزات الفنّيّة، الأفلام السينمائيّة وسواها من الأشكال التواصليّة والتعبيريّة والفنّيّة، والتي تتناول في طرحها التفكّر ومشاركة التجارب حول اللحظة الراهنة.
