رَسَائِلُ مِنْ فَوْقِ الأَرْضِ - Letters From The Ground
نتعرّضُ في منطقتِنا إلى عدوانٍ وتهديدٍ وجوديٍّ منذ عقود. نُطلِقُ من هنا، من لبنان، من مسرحِ زقاق، سلسلةَ رسائلَ تنبعُ من اللّحظةِ، نوجّهها في كلِّ مرّةٍ إلى جمهورٍ أو مجموعةٍ محدّدةٍ، نحكي من خلالها ما يُؤرّقُنا، نحاولُ فيها خرقَ ما تُعمي الشعاراتُ عن رؤيتِهِ، نتنفّسُ معها من تحتِ ركامِ الواقعِ، ننفضُ بها غبارَ حربِ أخبارٍ ملفّقةٍ، نُرسلها كابتسامةِ فلسطينيٍّ من تحتِ أقدامِ الجنودِ.
يستندُ عنوانُ "رسائل من فوق الأرض" إلى روايةِ الكاتبِ دوستويفسكي "مذكّرات من تحت الأرض"، التي تتساءلُ فيها الشخصيّةُ عن القيمِ الإنسانيّةِ من تحتِ الأرض، وإلى فيلمِ "تحت الأرض" لأمير كوستاريكا، الذي يروي قصّةَ مجموعةٍ يعيشونَ سنواتٍ تحتَ الأرضِ بعدَ انتهاءِ الحربِ، في عالمٍ مقتنعينَ فيهِ أنَّ الحربَ مستمرّةٌ، بينما يتغذّونَ على أخبارٍ كاذبةٍ ملفّقةٍ من تاجرِ أسلحةٍ صديقٍ.
In our region, we have been subjected to aggression and existential threats for decades. Here, from Lebanon, from Zoukak Theatre, we launch a series of letters that emerge from the present moment. Each time, we address a specific audience or group, sharing with them what deeply troubles us. Through these letters, we attempt to pierce through what slogans obscure from view. With these letters, we seek to breathe beneath the rubble of reality, dusting off the grime of war and fabricated news stories... we send them as messages, like the smile of a Palestinian beneath the feet of soldiers.
The title is inspired by Dostoevsky's novel “Notes from Underground,” where the protagonist questions human values from an underground setting, and by Emir Kusturica's film Underground, which tells the story of a group who live underground for years after the war has ended, convinced that the war is still ongoing, while they are fed false news fabricated by a weapons dealer.
Vivimos una agresión. Aquí, en Líbano, desde el colectivo Zoukak, damos inicio a esta serie de cartas que surgen del momento presente. En cada una, nos dirigiremos a una audiencia específica, compartiendo con ellos lo que nos inquieta. A través de estas cartas, intentamos mostrar lo que las frases vacías ocultan de la vista. Con estas cartas, buscamos respirar bajo los escombros de la realidad, sacudiéndonos el polvo de la guerra y de las noticias inventadas... las enviamos como mensajes, como la sonrisa de un palestino a los pies de los soldados.
El título se inspira en la novela de Dostoyevski "Memorias del subsuelo", donde el protagonista cuestiona los valores humanos desde un entorno subterráneo, y en la película “Underground” de Emir Kusturica, que narra la historia de un grupo de personas que viven bajo tierra años después de que la guerra haya terminado, convencidos de que aún continúa, mientras reciben noticias falsas fabricadas por un traficante de armas.
